The company that sells this product through Amazon really needs to get it's act together. It took a month for me to receive it even though the estimated delivery was only 7 to 12 days. And the only reason I got it then is because I emailed them to ask where it was. They sent me a reply saying that it had just gone out yesterday...yeah, right! They also had the completely wrong name at the top of their email even though my correct name was displayed right under their response.

I ordered this product to use when I took my pups hiking up in NC. It's good for keeping dirt and other stuff off your backseat; however, I was not pleased to find that it requires full headrests in the backseat as well. I did fully read the product description before purchase and it does say it attaches to your headrests...however, I think it should state directly that you need *rear* passenger seats with headrests, as I did not realize so many cars must have (other than mine!) Without the rear headrests, I had to engineer this to work. Further, the cover did not extend quite so far up on the backseat of my car (as shown in the picture on the box.) I only have small dogs, so it wasn't much of a concern for me, but if I had a larger breed it might be an issue.

Otherwise, considering that it's a requirement for cars to have the LATCH system, I don't understand why more of these pet products, such as this one or doggie carseats, aren't designed to be compatible with it!?! IMO it'd be easier to install and use!!

From my experience the Gotta Go Green bags have held up great in the rain. The bag did soften like shrink wrap however it didn't break and nothing leaked out. I'm on my second order of 50 and have had no problems with the toilets even though I usually flush them right away despite the directions of waiting 2-3 minutes. The fact that they are ecologically friendly is enough said and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to be "green friendly" and do their part.

This did not work. It has to make perfect skin contact to work and if your dog has hair like mine, it won't. The rounded studs do not penetrate the hair. Don't waste your money.

If you are looking for a review of the product itself, please skip to the bottom of this 'review'. The following describes my experience with Telebrands. I ordered this online through the pedipaws (telebrands) website figuring that since I could not get free shipping through Amazon, it would be cheaper to pay $19.99 than what is offered here. To make a long story short, even though I checked off the option to NOT get the "bonus" de-shedding tool, it was added to my bill (free with $8 S&H). I wanted to fix this issue ASAP. I ordered on Saturday but could not call until Monday. I called on Monday and while they had not processed my order and thus could not find it, the person on the phone said "everyone gets that whether they check the option or not". At this point, I decided to cancel but again, was told that since they didn't have the order, there was nothing to cancel. I was told to call back on Wednesday. In the meantime, I gave the credit card company a heads-up. I then found another number on the Telebrands website and called back (still on Monday). This person was only slightly better than the first but also repeated that they could not cancel since they didn't see the order. What I questioned her on was on their policy of only being able to cancel an order PRIOR to their processing the order. Once they started processing, it cannot be cancelled (it can be returned but not S&H which was the whole point!). She said she would "try" to cancel. I called back on Wednesday and was told it was cancelled on Monday. I reminded them that I never got the e-mail cancellation so she did send one. The problem? It was for $30.29, not the $36.30 that I was billed. My credit card company has been notified of possible fradulent charges and I do have the printouts of the receipts.

My only warning is not about the product but to be careful of where you order this product from.

Product review updated 11/30/08:
Since posting my original review, I have since purchased this item from a local retailer. I would rate it a solid three stars.....very average. I have 2 dogs and 1 tolerates it well while the other does not. I have followed all instructions that come with it. I don't think this is a good way to "clip" your dogs nails, I think it is more something to keep them trim and clean until they can be cut professionally which is something I will continue to do. One thing of note is that this device seems to work better without the plastic shield to capture the clippings. I can't really explain why but it is noticeable. I also seem to be unable to change the stars from 1 to 3. Sorry.

By the way, to those who commented on my original review, this was my only "non-product review". I hope in the future, people can be more kind when commenting on reviews. It is one thing to give a 'not helpful' comment, it is another thing to call me names.

My little chihuahua/dachshund mix wore this on our town's country fair.
All the kids were thrilled to see the hotdog and a lot of people asked to take a photo of my dog.

My dog didn't mind waring the costume but I fastened the front tie around the chest so that the costume would stay on the body.

I was very lucky - after appealing my case to the manufacturer, this was sent directly to me from Wahl, after I was given the bait & switch by the original Amazon "re-seller" in New York. If ever the phrase Buyer Beware was in force, it was this case. Great support from Wahl overcame the re-seller's bad faith. After several tedious phone calls to the NYC re-seller's store, I was ultimately offered "a different" product by this re-seller, still switching me away from my intended purchase! Initially they wouldn't admit responsibility or offer a pre-paid label to return the misrepresented product. BUYER BEWARE.

Our dog has been using an indoor potty, so these are very convenient to just throw in the toilet as opposed to smellng up a trash can or having to take it to to the dumpster right away. We always followed the directions to let it soak in the toilet for 15-20 minutes before flushing, and these have worked beautifully.
